Campaign for Free Expression executive director Nicole Fritz says it’s bewildering that organisations like Afriforum and Solidarity have made it a point that they embark on a misinformation campaign to talk down South Africa like they’re doing.

The right-wing organisations have been criticised for using false information to lobby the US government under President Donald Trump. In their latest memorandum, Solidarity accused Pretoria of being hostile in its foreign policy towards Washington.

Fritz says this is fundamentally irresponsible.
