Margaret has worked with Non-Governmental Organisations in Southern Africa for the past 15 years. She is a passionate social justice and human rights activist who has focused on capacity building, partnerships, community mobilization, policy review and programmes management. As a writer and activist, she has contributed to campaigns on signing, and ratification of the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and People’s Rights on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Africa. She continues to lend her voice and support speaking up on human rights violations including freedom of expression.
Margaret currently holds an Honors’ degree in Development Studies and a Bachelors in Communication Studies.
